In a 12-1 vote, our league has approved its biggest divisional realignment in SABL history - the North and the West Divisions will swap conferences next season. The West will move to the Classic Conference and the North Division will move to the Royal Conference.
Thanks to all of you that expressed opinions and voted on this issue.

Check your rosters very closely . . .
In his effort to trade for every single player in the SABL this summer, Druid Coach Mark Feeney has single handedly scrambled most of our team rosters. Please check your roster carefully on our Rosters & Stats link to make sure your team and draft picks are as they should be. If they aren't, contact me and I'll kill Mark personally for you.

Anyone that hasn't paid dues by Sept. 15 is outta' here
We still have 10 coaches that have not paid their SABL dues. Sept. 1 is the deadline. If I have not received your $20 dues by Sept. 15, you will be expelled from the SABL.
Paying your dues, staying on time and playing fair are the minimum requirements for Strat league fun. Without these three things, leagues die. I will not let the SABL die. Please send your dues ASAP.
Classic Conference wins 2000 All-Star series 4-0
The Classic Conference swept the Royal Conference for the first time in SABL All-Star play, 4 games to none. The Royals swept the Classics in 1996, but that was 2 games to none, back when the series was only three games. You can check out the box scores on our All-Stars link.
Game 3
Classics 108, Royals 105
The Royals gave it a good shot this game, keeping things close the whole time. Patrick Ewing had the biggest scoring performance of the All-Star series, canning 27 points. Karl Malone led for the Classics with 16.
Game 4
Classics 107, Royals 103
Tim Duncan was the only other All-Star this series to score more than 20 points, getting 21 for the Royals, but the might of the Classics was just too much again. Shaquille O'Neal, even though he was a miserable 5 of 16 from the foul line, scored 19 to lead the Classics.
