All three will take over Segment 13, March 13 and all three are computer players. Until then, autoplay their teams, both home and away games.
Give these guys a call, welcome them to the league and try to trade them out of their teams. You’ll be glad you did.
Goin’ computer
We only have one dice player left in the SABL and as far as I’m concerned, Jeff Stahl can stay with us forever. He’s a great coach. But eventually, I hope take the SABL all computer, with a WWW site up by this summer.
We could post our stats, messages, stories, instructions and read our newsletters all from this central site. I’ve done web pages before for a real estate magazine and I’ve already purchased the cyberspace. Get ready!
Team nicknames
Next year, we’ll have ‘em. Just send your team nickname to me along with your $20 dues this summer and they’ll appear on the official SABL league disk.

Phil’s asked me to tell everyone not to send him email for awhile. He’s rearranging his Internet setup.
More commentary
I apologize for the lack of commentary on our season so far. I don’t think I’ve done this well since taking over. When I get our web site up and our new constitution written, then I’ll be free to expound more on our great coaches and games we are playing. Right now, though, I think it’s most important for me to finish our reorganization so we can build on a strong foundation for the SABL’s future.
I just want you to know that you are doing a great job. Stay on time, keep sending your stat disks to Steve Walters (on the 21st of the month), and I’ll keep you in stats, news, and awards at the end of the season. Next year will get better.
No expansion
This is a no-brainer, but we ain’t gonna expand for awhile. We need to stabilize a bit first. Ideally, I’d love to have a 24-team league. But I think we’re at least two to three years away from attempting it. And I won’t do it if the majority of SABL coaches don’t want it.
