Team Lineages
Tom Gantert is the only coach in league history to coach three teams - South Jersey, the Michigan Gearjammers and an Unnamed team.
Steve Walters has coached two different franchises - The Galactic Gladiators and Galactic Thunder.
Right before the 2000 Draft, the biggest divisional realignment in SABL history occurred when the West and North divisions swapped conferences. The West Division moved to the Classic Conference and the North Division moved to the Royal Conference.
Only two franchises have never moved from their original divisions: St. Lucie & Richmond.
Only one franchise still has its original coach: Brooklyn - Steve Feldheim
Only three charter coaches of the SABL are still with the league: Steve Walters, Steve Feldheim and Scott Ellis. Of those three, only two are still coaching - Steve Feldheim and Steve Walters.
